Light on snow by Anita Shreve is a good book for readers who are mature and want an more realistic book. The story is about a sensitive topic and requires the reader to be old enough to understand the conflict. The author tells a story of a widowed father and his 12 year old daughter who find a new born infant alive in the snow. After finding the baby many things happen to the family that they never expected would. The book uses great diction but isn't too challenging. It's great for a reader who is looking for a easy yet intriguing story. Personally I have enjoyed reading the book, it allowed me to make many connections to my own life. The story is told through a 12 year old girls eyes so I understood everything that Happened more clearly. I highly recommend this book for teenagers and adults its a great read.
This sounds like a really in-depth book, very meaningful. It definitely seems like a book for a high school reading level. Thanks for sharing. ;)
